Boater’s Paradise
With over 400 miles of navigable waterways, Cape Coral is a boater’s paradise. Cape Coral waterfront homes are available in basically four different types of water access. The first and least expensive waterfront property is “fresh water” access and is the most abundant type of waterfront homes. Canals ranging from 80 to 100 feet wide are mostly in the central corridor and North East and North West quadrants of the city. Second, “Gulf Access” homes that have access to the Gulf of Mexico are situated in the Northwest, Southwest, and Southeast quadrants. “Gulf access” canals are 80 to 200 feet wide and can be unrestricted and restricted access. “Restricted access” canals have access to the Gulf of Mexico but you have to navigate under a bridge to get to open water. Bridge heights are typically between 7 to 11 feet depending on tide. Third, unrestricted “Sailboat” access homes are relegated to the perimeter of the city in the Southeast, Southwest and Northwest Quadrants ( See Map Here). Fourth, would be directly on the Riverfront. An environmental beauty, this waterfront wonderland offers a tremendous lifestyle choice for nature, water and boating enthusiast. As a Cape Coral boat owner, maintaining your vessel is a high priority towards protecting our pristine waterways. I have compiled a list of a few marine service companies to get you started in researching the best qualified candidate to meet your boat repair needs. Hope this helps ;-)
